Mynurva Frontline Trauma Services - FAQs
What type of support is available?
Mynurva provide 1:1 counselling, trauma support, EMDR, and preventative wellbeing check-ins.
We can provide rapid response trauma support and ongoing followup care after a critical incident, or a significant time later. Many people need help some time after exposure to frontline stressful situations.
How is help accessed? What times are appointments?
We primarily provide appointments via video link for fast, flexible access. Staff can choose a date and time to suit and daytime, evening and weekend sessions are available. It is easy for staff to reschedule appointments directly on the platform, or contact our admin support.
Is the service confidential?
Yes. All sessions are private, no recordings are made. No personal information is shared with employers, unless agreed.
The organisation receives only anonymised, aggregated reports on overall wellbeing trends.
Are your therapists qualified?
All therapists are fully qualified, registered, DBS checked, and work to NICE guidelines.
Our clinical lead is very experienced in leading teams dealing with significant amounts of trauma. Many of our therapists are qualified to provide this higher level of support.
How quickly can someone speak to a counsellor?
There are often same day appointments available. We ensure there are a choice of days and times to choose from; and in our experience many select a day / time a few days ahead. Choosing a convenient time is more important than having an appointment that day.
Do you provide Critical Incident Cover?
We do provide this, and can have trained therapists onsite within 24 hours.
This is an additional paid service beyond the standard provision but can be actioned very quickly – for deployment next day.
